Nudes

If you only buy one thing in the sales make it shades of neutrals- they are huge next season and great for summer in the city. I snatched these Top Shop suede shorts yesterday (a bargain at £65) and I'm wearing them with an old silk cami and my favorite shoes of the moment: beige patent Jimmy Choo's  (the most leg flattering and comfortable heels I have ever worn- promise) all in buttery hues of beige.

Oh my goodness, you look amazing. Such a sophisticated ensemble! I love that colour pallet- I'm finding that as I approach 30 (1 year, 2 months and counting, eek!) I still want to follow trends but I want to invest more in items that look a little more grown up and a little more luxe- the nudes trend is perfect, loving that you're focusing on it! I noticed that the beloved leather Wallis t-shirt is back on their website- you did say you wanted 5...! x

Ciao girls, I have to say I am loving the nude trend too- it is a recent love, yet one that will last all of next season so do invest in it. You can pair camel, caramel, sand and beige with other neutrals, brights and even soft powdery colours and it always look sophisticated and stylishly grown up. Invest! There is LOADS in the sales and so easy to spot.

I'm thinking of investing in the shorts. They'd look good with a black silk t-shirt and black opaques when it gets cooler? x

Yes absolutely- I might try a shade of beige too, maybe ribbed wool Falke type and with tan shoe and a thick cashmere jumper?? Will defo do a winter post when the season comes. If you do invest in the shorts send me apic for my "You're WIT" section please!!

OK!! I've also ordered the Topshop cargo leggings...You are proving to be very bad for my bank balance! The beige sounds like a really good idea actually- especially for a more daytime look. They're already proving versatile and I haven't even bought them yet!! x
